Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DATSYO collects, uses and protects visitor data. Because clients and visitors reach this site from many countries, it is written to meet the expectations of several legal frameworks at once: the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the US California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA, Canada's PIPEDA, consent-based data-protection frameworks common across Asia (e.g. Singapore's PDPA), and the Ukrainian Law "On Personal Data Protection", since the business operates from Ukraine.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who controls your data

The data controller is Yaroslav (contact: datsyohub@gmail.com), a sole proprietor based in Ukraine providing web development, design and automation services to clients worldwide.

2. What data is collected

When you submit the contact form, we collect: your name, contact details (email or phone), your preferred messenger, and the content of your message.

The site may also collect anonymized technical/usage data (device type, approximate country-level location, referral source) through analytics tools, without directly identifying you.

3. Why we process it

Your data is used solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, and — if you become a client — to perform the resulting service agreement. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data may be shared only with the technical services needed to deliver it (e.g. Telegram, for message delivery) or with analytics providers (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics), limited to what's strictly necessary.

3.1. Data received in the course of delivering a project (materials, credentials, client content) is processed and stored under the terms of the Service Agreement, "Confidentiality" section, and is not covered by this Policy.

4. Legal basis for processing

Under the GDPR, processing relies on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you tick the consent checkbox before submitting the form, and on the necessity to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) once you engage our services.

For US visitors, this notice serves as the disclosure required under the CCPA/CPRA. For Canadian visitors, consent is obtained per PIPEDA's "meaningful consent" standard. For visitors in jurisdictions with PDPA-style frameworks (e.g. Singapore, and similar regimes elsewhere in Asia), consent is likewise obtained before any data is processed.

5. How long we keep data

Data is retained only as long as necessary to handle your inquiry or fulfil a contract, and is deleted on request, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, accounting records under Ukrainian tax law).

6. Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you (you are in the EU/EEA): you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing of your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If the CCPA/CPRA applies to you (California residents): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If PIPEDA applies to you (Canada): you have the right to access your personal information, request corrections, and file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If you are in an Asia-Pacific jurisdiction with a consent-based data-protection law (e.g. Singapore's PDPA or a comparable regime): you have the right to withdraw consent, access your data, and request correction.

If Ukrainian law applies to you: you have the rights set out in the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", including the right to know the sources and purpose of processing and to lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

To exercise any of the above rights, email datsyohub@gmail.com — we respond within a reasonable time, generally no later than 30 days.

6.1. Requests to delete data received in the course of delivering a project (as opposed to the inquiry form) are handled under the terms of the Service Agreement, since such data may be needed for warranty support.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site uses baseline analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) to understand overall traffic and improve the site. This data is aggregated/anonymized and is not used to identify you individually.

By continuing to use the site you consent to this limited technical cookie use. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site's core content.

8. International data transfers

Because analytics and communication providers (Google, Telegram, Vercel) may process data on servers outside your country, some anonymized technical data may cross borders. Personal data submitted through the contact form is used only to the extent necessary to deliver your message by email or Telegram to the site operator.

9. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children. Depending on your jurisdiction the relevant age threshold may be 13 (e.g. under COPPA in the US) or 16 (e.g. under the GDPR, absent a lower national derogation). If you are below the applicable age, please do not submit personal data without a parent's or guardian's consent.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in how the site operates. The current version, with its last-updated date, is always available on this page.

11. Contact

For any question about this policy or how your data is handled, email datsyohub@gmail.com.
